AAA C

We believe that all activities help children to learn and develop. We run a lot of out of hours activities* to help the children develop new interests and stay safe, fit and healthy. Some activities are open to parents to take part with the children.

Ecclesfield Primary is proud to support Cross Country events across Sheffield. We host an event at school and also encourage our juniors to attend as many events as they can. Click here for dates of all the cross Country events happening this year.

Below is a short description of a few of the clubs we have on offer at Ecclesfield. To view our full timetable for this half term, click here. If you require further information, please speak to our school office who will be more than happy to help.

Multi-sports

Our Learning mentor Miss Reay provides the children in Key Stage 1 an opportunity to come to school early and start the day with some physical activity. The multi-sports sessions cover a variety of different sports and allow the children to enjoy themselves in a familiar environment.

Singing Club

This club is a fantastic opportunity for pupils to show off their singing talent! Led by members of staff, singing club supports children performance skills whilst having fun singing together. All the practices lead to a performance in front of the school.

Tricky Wingers Football

Both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children are invited to participate in our after school football training, run by Steve Adams' Tricky Wingers. An established and highly regarded team of coaches offer the children the opportunity to learn new skills, improve techniques and play in real-life game situations.

Street Dance and Dance

The sessions are a great opportunity to participate in a new and exciting children’s fitness programme, each workout helps teach children some basic fundamentals such as coordination, discipline, confidence and teamwork.
