Sharp System

Hannah Smith - Thursday, September 10, 2015

Sharp System

Y4, 5 & Y6 have been introduced to our Sharp Website which is a reporting system for anti-social behaviour and bullying.  When using the Sharp System, the children can make a report informing Miss Smith about any incidents of bullying or anti social behaviour, including cyber bullying. Incidents from both inside and outside of school can be reported and Miss Smith will decide on the appropriate action.  Please click here to look at this reporting tool and discuss it with your child.

Extended Learning Opportunities

Hannah Smith - Thursday, September 03, 2015

We believe that all activities help children to learn and develop. Therefore we run a lot of out of hours activities to help the children develop new interests and stay safe. Click here to view our full timetable of extended learning opportunities for the first Autumn term. If you require any further information, please speak to our school office who will be more than happy to help.

Den Day

Sarah Short - Friday, June 05, 2015
Den Days was a huge success at Ecclesfield over the past couple of days. We are so proud of the effort the children have made when creating their dens to raise money for the 'Save The Children' charity.

The children should have brought home a sponsor form for them to collect sponsors safely. We hope that following the ‘Den Days,’ the sponsor money can be collected and returned to school by Monday 22nd June. Please make sure the sponsor form has your child's name on so we can arrange for their certificate.

We need your help! As a school, we are wanting to run a ‘Hanging Basket Competition’ where each class is in charge of their own hanging basket: They decide on the amount of compost, the seeds, bulbs, plants, herbs or decoration they want. The baskets will be judged (by an impartial adjudicator!) on Friday 22nd May and then we will then use these to decorate the outside of school. We still need the following in order to make our hanging baskets as  attractive as possible:

Compost (lots of it!)
Decorations (e.g. ribbon etc)

If you feel you can donate anything, please bring these donations in – even the smallest of donations will help! Please could all donations be in by
Tuesday 19
th May as we will be creating our masterpieces on Thursday 21st May.
