Congratulations to all that took part in the swimming gala last week. Medley, freestyle and individual races were swam by Y4, 5 and 6 children who all tried incredibly hard and did the school proud. Overall we came runners up in the event, receiving medals and a trophy. A special mention to Phoebe Cooper and Samuel Eades who won the 50m individual freestyle competitions for their age categories! Well done!

Parental Feedback

Hannah Smith - Friday, November 16, 2018

Parental Feedback: Thank you to all the parents and carers who took the time during our parents’ evenings to complete our feedback survey. We really do appreciate your feedback. It was great to hear that out of those surveys received back 100% of pupils are happy at Ecclesfield, 100% of parents believe their children are taught well at Ecclesfield and 100% of parents believe their child is well looked after at Ecclesfield. We are extremely proud of this feedback and will continue to ensure that the pupils at Ecclesfield are happy and well cared for. In order to further improve, we are working on ways to support parents in knowing what their next steps are for their children. Look out for Class Dojo blogs which will give further details on how parents can help with learning. Class teachers are always happy to meet with parents to discuss strengths and next steps for pupils, please either phone the office or speak to your child’s class teachers to arrange a meeting.

Cross Country Event

Hannah Smith - Friday, October 19, 2018
Well done to Evie Smith, Annabel Smith, Ryan Revill and Freddie Johnson who took part in the last cross country race in Norfolk Park. The next race takes place at Bradfield School on on 17th November.

A huge well done to all pupils and families who have joined in with our Roald Dahl Day celebrations. It was a fantastic day which has supported our pupil’s love of reading and the school’s drive to ensure our pupils are equipped with the reading skills needed when they leave us.
