Alive 'N' Kicking is a highly successful children’s lifestyle weight management service that helps overweight children and young people and their families to reach and

Active Kids Vouchers

Hannah Smith - Friday, February 26, 2016

Active Kids vouchers can be collected from 27th January until 3rd May at all Sainsbury’s stores, petrol stations and when ordering groceries online. As a school, we are collecting these vouchers to help us buy sports and cookery equipment for our pupils. You can hand in any vouchers to class teachers or the office, who will place them in our bright orange collecting box! The more we collect, the more we can buy!  Thank you for your continued support, it is much appreciated.

School Uniform Reminder

SCHOOL UNIFORM REMINDER

As a school, we want our pupils to take pride in being part of the school. We therefore promote the
wearing of a school uniform for all age groups.

The recommended school uniform that we ask all parents to provide for their children consists of:

  •  * Navy or red polo shirt and navy sweatshirt or cardigan.
  •  * Grey, navy or black trousers/skirt (these should be appropriate for school; tracksuit bottoms or jeans are not recommended)
  •  * Black shoes (footwear should be appropriate and sensible for school. High heels, backless sandals or platform soles for example are not suitable)
  •  * Please note hooded jackets or coloured jackets should not to be worn in school.

During the winter months we ask that every child brings a suitable coat to school. We do take the children outside as much as possible so they need to be wrapped up to keep them warm.

We also ask that KS2 pupils bring a pair of indoor pumps or slippers to change into.

Y5 Basketball Competition

Y5 Basketball Competition
A huge congratulations to the 8 Year 5 children who took part in the Hotshots basketball competition on Tuesday. There were some thrilling games played which had
parents and children alike on the edge of their seats. We made it out of our group with two wins and a closely fought draw before unfortunately, losing to the eventual winners in the semi-final. Well done to all the children who greatly enjoyed the event.
