Our school council work really hard to support different charities by organising fundraising events.

We have had a great start to this school year's fundraising!

September 2018 - We celebrated Dahlicious Day buy inviting children and staff to come to school dressed in their favourite Roald Dahl character. The children wore some fantastic outfits and a grand total of £217.00 was raised for Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity.

October 2018 - Parents and carers were invited to a coffee morning in school where staff served refreshments and many, many baked goods. Children also had the opportunity to buy the baked goods at break time. We raised a great amount of money for Dementia UK - a total of £240.28.

November 2018 - We raised £177.38 for the Poppy Appeal by inviting the children to purchase poppies and other related goods.

November 2018 - To celebrate Children in Need Day, all pupils and staff were invited to wear their own clothes for a voluntary contribution to this worthwhile charity. We also held a bun sale and, in total, we raised £423.91.

December 2018 - During our Christmas Performances at school, parents were invited to donate their spare change. We raised £37.48 which was sent to the Children's Hospital Charity in Sheffield.

December 2018 - Just before we broke up for the Christmas holiday, we celebrated Save the Children's Christmas Jumper Day. Children and staff wore an amazing array of festive jumpers and other outfits and we raised £254.25 whilst having a really fun day.

March 2019 - Donations of £97.65 were made to the Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity following our World Book Day celebrations where we invited all children and staff to dress as their favourite Dahl book characters, or wear yellow clothing (Dahl's favourite colour).

March 2019 - Red Nose Day was a huge success! In the weeks prior to the event, we sold £660.68 worth of red noses to children and staff. A further £264.17 was raised on the day through donations and we invited all pupils and staff to dress in anything red.

These are the activities which took place to raise money for charity last school year.

September 2017 - At the end of the month, we held a coffee morning for parents and carers as well as organising a raffle and allowing pupils to buy buns at break time. We raised a cake-tastic £206.25 which was donated to McMillan Cancer Support Charity.

October 2017 - Throughout our harvest festival celebrations, we received a large number of donations of food and supplies as well as raising £85.71. The goods and money was donated to the Cathedral Archer Project, a homeless day centre based in Sheffield.
