Apprentice Assistant Caretaker Vacancy

The children, staff and governors of Ecclesfield Primary School are looking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and dedicated Apprentice caretaker to start in September 2022. This is a great opportunity to become part of our two-form entry “Good” primary school - judged by Ofsted March 2019. Ecclesfield Primary School is federated with Coit Primary School and thus there are many opportunities to work across both schools. Both schools are committed to nurturing staff to support the development of the skills, knowledge and understanding needed for this role.

The Apprentice Assistant Caretaker will carry out general facilities duties covering all service areas including assisting and being trained in general building and grounds maintenance and supporting the efficient running of the school buildings and grounds creating an environment conducive with learning.

• 37 hours per week
• 52 weeks per year
• 12 month contract
