There have been some fantastic pieces of writing in year 6 this week all about Rosa Parks. They have been thinking about how they can add detail to their writing using a range of grammatical features such as adverbials, descriptive vocabulary, parenthesis and subordinating clauses. The year 6s have really enjoyed learning about such a significant person in history and it has triggered some insightful and engaging conversations in lessons about equality.
