The Code Show

KS2 had a visit from the Code Show this week. Gary introduced the history of computing, going all the way back to the 1960s and explaining the detailed process of how man first stepped on the moon. The children had the opportunity to explore different coding devices from across the decades including a range of games and programmes that could be played using each computer or electronic devices. The children were amazed by the amount of technology they didn't even recognise or know about, giving them context to how gaming devices such as the Xbox and PlayStation have been generated over time. They even got to sit in the first electric car!
