World Book Day

It has been World Book Day this week and all the children have had a fantastic time coming into school dressed ‘ready for a bedtime story’. We have focussed our learning on the poet Michael Rosen who is a very animated reader and shares many of his poems via videos. You should try and watch a few because they are fantastic! The children have also had the opportunity to read with a ‘reading buddy’ from another year group which was a lovely experience for them to read to another but also be read to. We then finished the day with a bedtime story with our snack and drink. What a brilliant day!
