Year 4 have been learning about poetry this week, focussing in depth on the different features of limericks. They have used their current geography and science units of work about rivers and the water cycle as inspiration when writing their own limericks. They generated a range of rhyming vocabulary that they used brilliantly in lines with different amounts of syllables.
