This week, Y5 launched their new History topic, Anglo-Saxons and Vikings, with a History day. The children investigated the reasons why the Anglo-Saxons invaded Britain, made their own Anglo-Saxon Minecraft villages, and looked at various artefacts to predict how the Anglo-Saxons lived. Finally, the children wrote kenning poems to describe our image of the Vikings.
