Year 1 - Zim Zam Zoom!

Year 1 have had a lovely time this week learning all about the poem ‘Zim Zam Zoom’ by James Carter. They practised their phonics skills as a class by segmenting all the sounds to help them read it together and then they built up their fluency by performing the poem in small groups. They had a such a wonderful time and can’t wait to continue with learning about the poem next week when they are going to write their very own versions!
